Debbie Bent has owned and bred harlequin Great Danes for over 40 years in her home in sunny Southern California.  Debbie considers her Great Dane endeavors as a beloved lifelong hobby that was carefully created with style and precision for health and beauty.  Each Great Dane is a family member, lovingly raised indoors – not in kennels or runs.  All members are obedience trained and have been shown in conformation rings throughout the United States.  Being in the medical field, Debbie considers her background to be an advantage for breeding healthy sound dogs that have excellent temperaments and conformation.   In addition to health, careful consideration is given to pedigree.  Bent-On Danes originated and expanded upon the Riverwood bloodline, as the late Eva Robinson was an important mentor for Debbie for many, many years.  Occasionally a litter is produced for the purpose of improving the breed, at which time puppies may be available only to loving homes. Bent-On Danes believes in quality, not quantity.
